Beto: Estoy de acuerdo en que uno hace youtube lo que quiera, sucede como con wiki o el msn. Puede ser una herramienta de ocio infinito a como puede servir para un aprendizaje profundo sobre muchos temas.

Zabermann: Sin duda el hecho de que sea gratis es una gran ventaja, pero en el marco de la Web 2.0 donde el contenido es dado por los usuarios y el webmaster simplemente provee la herramienta, es importante ver de que manera esto refleja muchos valores y muchas conductas propias de las masas. Es evidente que la masa prefiere el video Jackass o ver simplemente el video de Rihanna o Avril (estoy seguro que los menores de 14 años son los responsables de eso). Yo llegué hace tiempo a la misma conclusión, aunque últimamente he terminado por aceptar que YouTube, como medio, es básicamente lo que uno decide que sea. Puede ser un desfile interminable y vomitivo de clones de Jackass las 24 horas del día, o puede ser una plataforma para descubrir cortos y programas raros y geniales, que no podríamos conocer si no fuera por ese medio. En uno está la decisión.
